🍓 Purpose & Community Involvement

• Health & Fitness: Promoting health and the joy of movement.
• Scholarship Fund: Raising funds for our Scholarship Fund and other initiatives.
• Festivities: Kickoff to the Poteet Rotary Strawberry Shift, Battle of the Bands, and Strawberry Festival.
• Family Activities: Special appearances by mascots Ruby and Freckles, and more!

⚠️ Important Notices

• Supervision: Children aged 10 and under must be supervised by an adult.
• Shirt Deadline: To secure shirt/size is Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
• Medals: Earn your FINISHERS MEDAL by completing the distance you registered for.
• Team Trophy: Awarded to the largest registered team: assemble your team early!

🗓️ Registration Timeline

• Early Bird Special: November 8-30, 2024
• 5K & 1 Mile Walk Price: $20 + fees for ages 10-70, includes shirt.
• Increased Prices: December 1, 2024 - April 3, 2025 for 5K & 1 Mile Walk.
• Registration: No refunds, transfers, or deferments.

📅 Event Timeline

• Packet Pick-Up: Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
• Location: Poteet Strawberry Festival Grounds, Armed Forces Pavilion.
• Day of Registration: Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• Cut Off Time: 7:00 a.m. - NO EXCEPTIONS.

🚗 Parking & Course Information

• Parking: At the Lions Club Pavilion.
• Course: Open course: caution is advised due to potential traffic.
• Water Stations: Available at the turnaround and finish.
• Chip Timing: Provided for the 5K race only: results will be posted promptly.

🏅 Awards

• 5K Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male/female in multiple age categories.
• Team Award: Presented after the 5K winners.
• Door Prizes: Drawn from tickets issued at the end of the event.
• Must be Present: Participants must be present to win door prizes.
