🌼 About the Event

• Foundation Background: The Kayla Bernardi Bee Positive Foundation was started after Kayla lost her battle to leukemia in 2015. As a family we choose to stay focused on the positive and make a difference in our community.
• Inspiration: Kayla's nickname was Busy Bee, making it a natural name for her foundation. We raise money to spread throughout the community in her foundation's name.
• Legacy: Losing Kayla continues to pain us in a way that is indescribable, raising funds in her name inspires us to continue her legacy and "Bee Positive" even on the hardest of days.
• Annual Tradition: Kayla’s birthday is January 31st, so every year we do a 5K Fun Run Walk to honor her legacy and raise money to spread throughout many communities.

🎉 Post Run Celebration

• Event: POST RUN BEE POSITIVE PARTY AT DUST BOWL BREWERY.
• When: Join us in Dust Bowl’s Turlock Beer Garden on January 25th, 2025 from 11am-2pm for music, corn hole, and a BEE Positive Vibe.
• Perks: The first 250 participants 21 and older with a bib from the 2025 Fun Run/Walk will get one complimentary beer or seltzer. Participants under 21 can enjoy a free soda or hop water.
• Food and Drink: The food trailer and outdoor bar will also be open for the occasion. Don’t miss the special edition Bizzy BEE beer brewed especially for this event!
