LASAA’s mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie.
📅 Mug Run History
- Inception: The Mug Run series started in 1993.
- Participants: The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners.
- Growth: Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public.
- Current Participation: Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.
👮♀️ Community Engagement
The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.
💰 Pricing Information
- Early Registration: Race day pricing increases to $40, so make sure to sign up early.
- T-shirt: Each runner will receive a T-shirt on race day.
