📅 Date and Location

• Date: December 13, 2025
• Location: 44 Fort Ashby Road, Fort Ashby, WV 26719
• Event: 5K Run/2 Mile Walk/Kids Fun Mile
• Start and End Point: The course begins and ends at the Fort Ashby Primary School.

📍 Course Details

• Course Location: Dan’s Run Road
• Awards and Registration: Held at the Fort Ashby Primary School.
• Note: Fort Ashby is located 15 miles south of Cumberland on US Route 28.
• Parking: Available at the Fort Ashby Community Building and Trinity UM Church. Please do not park behind the Primary School as it is a private road.

🏅 Age Groups

Age group categories are as follows:

• 10 and under
• 11-13
• 14-16
• 17-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60 and over

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top male and female in the 5K
• Masters Awards: Male and female
• Age Group Awards: Top three finishers per age/gender group in 5K
• Kids Awards: Ribbons to all kids 10 and under plus mile participants

💵 Entry Fees

• Early Registration: $15.00 for 5K/2 Mile walk: $12.00 for Kids Fun Mile if signed up by midnight November 22nd.
• Late Registration: $20.00 for 5K/2 Mile walk: $15.00 for Kids Fun Mile if registered after midnight November 22nd and on race day.
• Race T-shirts: Available for all entries that pre-register by November 29th. Remaining shirts will be given as supplies last.
• Proceeds: All proceeds go toward FHS Cross-Country Program.

⏰ Schedule

• Registration: Opens at 7:45 am - 8:45 am
• 5K/2 Mile Walk: Starts at 9:00 am
• Kids Mile: Following the 5K race/2 Mile walk (approximately 10:00 am)
• Awards Ceremony: Following the Kids race (approximately 10:30 am)

⚠️ Weather Policy

If poor weather conditions occur on race day, check your email or the QC Striders Facebook page for information. The make-up day is December 21st.
