Chattanooga Bar Foundation and Chattanooga Bar Association Third Annual Lawyers Have Heart 5K and 1 Mile Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Welcome to the Third Annual Chattanooga Bar Foundation and Chattanooga Bar Association Lawyers Have Heart 5K and 1 Mile walk event set for Saturday, December 14, 2024.

🎉 Participation Details

• Family-Friendly: Grab the kids or dogs or both and join us for a fun morning run or walk.
• Costumes Encouraged: Christmas Costumes are welcomed and encouraged (but not required).
• Dog Policy: Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and cleaned up after.

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Will end December 12, 2024, at 10:00 PM.
• Race Day Registration: In-person registration will be available on December 14 from 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM.

🏅 Race Schedule

• 5K Start Time: The 5K race will start at approximately 8:50 a.m.
• 1-Mile Walk Start Time: The 1-mile walk will begin at 8:55 a.m.
• Location: Start and finish will be at Camp Jordan Campground Pavilion located in Camp Jordan Park.
• Refreshments: Refreshments will be provided before and after the race.

💖 Cause and Benefits

Proceeds of this event will benefit the Chambliss Center for Children's ISAIAH 117 HOUSE mission which provides physical and emotional support for children awaiting foster care placement. ISAIAH 117 is an initiative organized by the Chambliss Center for Children which is a local non-profit organization. You can learn more about this cause at isaiah117house.com.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• Open to All Ages: This 5K and 1-mile walk is open to the public and people of all ages are welcome.
• Awards for Adults: Awards will be given to adults who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for each gender.
• Children's Awards: Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for children (up to 12 years old).
• Best Costume: Since this event is during the holidays, there will be awards for the best Christmas costume.

☔ Event Assurance

The event will go on, rain or shine (in the rare chance of dangerous weather, we will email all participants if cancelled). We look forward to seeing you on December 14th.
