Core Sound Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

A family-friendly 10K, 5K and Fun Run on one of North Carolina's most beautiful islands -- Harkers Island. The Core Sound Run begins and ends "at the end of the road" - at the edge of Core Sound.

👕 Participant Perks

• T-shirts: High-quality, long sleeve t-shirts provided to each 5k and 10k participant.
• Registration: Register by end of day March 19th for guaranteed t-shirt size.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Overall Grand Prize: A collectible decoy per age group.
• Age Group Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes per age group.
• Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (16 prizes per race type/gender).

📦 Packet Pickup

Early packet pickup: Will be available on Thursday, April 3rd & Friday, April 4th 10am-5pm at the Core Sound Museum Store at 806 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC.
