🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the 12th Annual Wickenburg's Wild West Run!

Cinch up your shoes, secure your hat, and come run (or walk!) through Arizona's most western town.

🗺️ Race Course Overview

• Starting Point: Sunset Park (3020 W. Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, AZ 85390).
• Course Type: Out-and-back with a gradual descent to the 5k turnaround.
• Elevation Change: A gradual climb for 10k and half-marathon runners.
• 10k Turnaround: Located just beyond Wickenburg's Los Caballeros Golf Course.

🌄 Scenic Views Await

• Half-Marathon Route: Covers 3.45 miles of scenic terrain before the turnaround.
• Viewpoints: Participants can enjoy picturesque views of Wickenburg at the turnaround point.
• Unique Experience: Run in your spurs: just don't squat!
• Event Atmosphere: A beautiful run in all of Arizona.

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Registration Time: Race-day registration and packet pickup starts at 6:00 a.m.
• Packet Inclusions: Goodie bag, performance t-shirt, and race bib with timing chip.
• Shirt Sizes: Guaranteed for pre-registered runners: limited availability on race day.
• Bag Check-In: Free bag check-in available: items left unclaimed will be donated.

⏰ Race Morning Schedule

• Half Marathon: 6:30 a.m.
• 15K: 6:45 a.m.
• 10K: 7:00 a.m.
• 5K: 7:15 a.m.
• 1-Mile Kids Fun Run: 9:30 a.m.

👕 Event T-Shirts and Race Timing

• Shirt Guarantee: Register by 4/5/2025 for a guaranteed t-shirt.
• Chip Timing: All races will utilize chip timing: distributed with race bibs.
• Placement: Attach bib to the front of your shirt or shorts for accurate timing.
• Kids Fun Run: 1-mile course for children 10 and under: all participants receive a shirt and medal.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• Medals: Awarded to top finishers in 5K, 10K, and half-marathon by age bracket.
• Age Categories: Includes 12 and under, 13-15, and up to 70+.
• Finisher's Medals: All half-marathon participants will receive one.
• Best Dressed Outfits: Prizes for the most creative western attire.

📸 Photos and Fun

• Photography: On-course and candid photos available.
• Photo Op Area: Free photo opportunities at the Start/Finish area.
• Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the course.
• Strollers: Allowed on the course, but participants should start at the back.

• Activities: Bounce house for kids and delicious food options.

• Gathering: Friends and family can enjoy a free western-themed photo opportunity.
