🏃♂️ Event Overview
Lace up your sneakers and work up an appetite for Thanksgiving dinner at the 12th annual Wells Village School fall 5K on Saturday, November 23rd at 9am (registration opens at 8am).
- Date: November 23, 2024
- Location: 36 MWA Loop, Wells, Vermont
- Course: An out-and-back course through the town with a turnaround at Lakeside Park.
- Registration Costs: $7/child, $20/adult, max of $50/family
Proceeds will be used to help cover expenses such as extracurricular activities, sports, transportation, etc. Come on out and support Wells Village School.

🗓️ Event Details and Schedule
- Registration: 8am - 8:45am in the school parking lot.
- Shirt Orders: Must be placed by midnight on 11/3.
- Parking: Please park in the rear parking lot behind the MWA buildings.
- Restrooms: Available inside the school before the race.
📍 Course Information
The course begins in front of the WVS. Here’s how to navigate:
- Direction: Turn left out of driveway onto Route 30.
- Route: Take the first left on North Street, right onto Quinn Cove road, and stay straight onto Western Shores road.
- Turnaround: Enter Lakeside Park for the turnaround.
- Return Route: Stay on North Street, then right onto Route 30 back to the school parking lot.
💧 Amenities and Refreshments
- Water Stop: Available at Lakeside Park with a port-o-potty.
- Post-Race Refreshments: Bagels, bananas, Wells Country Store donuts, and bottled water.
- Photography: Pictures of the race will be taken, available on our Facebook event page.
- Weather: This event is rain, snow, or shine.
