Light the Way 5k

🎉 Event Overview

The 2024 Light the Way 5k and free 1/2 Mile Kid's Run will take place at the Fort Missoula Regional Park on Saturday, December 21st.

This festive evening run features colorful lights around the course, holiday music, cookies, and hot chocolate. Christmas cookies & hot cocoa served at the finish!

📝 Registration

• Early Registration: October 22nd - November 30th: $25
• Race Day Registration: December 1st - December 21st: $30

⏰ Schedule

Saturday, December 21st (Race Day)

• 10:00AM - 2:00PM: Race Day Packet Pick Up in the Runner's Edge Basement
• 4:45PM-5:45PM: Race Day Packet Pick Up at Fort Missoula Regional Park
• 5:30PM: Kid's Half Mile Fun Run (Free)
• 6:00PM: Light the Way 5k Start
• 6:15PM – 7:30PM: Cookies and Cocoa
• 6:30PM: Ugly Sweater Contest and Awards Ceremony for top 3 men and women

🎁 Runners Receive

• Illuminated Course: A 5k course lined with luminaires
• Finish Line Treats: Finish line cookies, candy canes, and cocoa
• Meet Santa: Meet and take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus
• Fun Contest: Ugly Sweater Contest
• Custom Bib: Custom Race Bib
• Chip Timing: Chip timing
• Community Spirit: A chance to celebrate the holiday season with friends, family, and the Missoula running community!
