🏃♀️ Race Overview
This 5k run/walk is to help raise funds for my mother, who was diagnosed with terminal Non-Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma.
💖 Purpose of the Event
- Support Needed: Due to this diagnosis, we have had to take several steps towards aggressive treatment plans.
- Rising Expenses: Along with the treatment plans, there are several other medical expenses that are occurring.
- Impact on Work: She has had to cut back on work, causing a decrease in income at the same time as an increase in expenses.
- Family Initiative: My sister and I want to help our mother so that she can just focus on fighting.
👏 Event Background
My mother':s name is Laura and she grew up in West Deer. The project I have created for her is the Laura':s Warriors: Her Fight is My Fight.
