🏃♂️ Race Overview
- Course: A 3.1 mile course that loops through and around the beautiful West Rowan area. For competitive and recreational runners. Walkers welcomed.
- Proceeds: All proceeds go to Rowan Helping Ministries - a not-for-profit volunteer-based corporation which operates human service programs to assist the economically disadvantaged.
- Donations: Canned goods and used running shoes will be collected at the race. Donated items will be dispersed by Rowan Helping Ministries after the race.
- Date and Location: 2024-12-14 at Millbridge Ruritan Building, Mt. Ulla, NC.
💰 Registration Fees
- 5k price through December 13: $30
- Race Day price: $35
- 1/2 Mile Fun Run price: $10
- Check-In: Race Day Registration & Check-In begins at 7:30 a.m.
🏅 Awards and Age Groups
- Awards: 5K Top 3 Male and Female participants in each age division. Top 3 Overall Male and Female. Overall Masters Male and Female.
- Fun Run Awards: 1/2 Mile Fun-Run Top 3 Male and Female ages 12 and under.
- 5K Age Groups: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
- Fun Run Age Group: 12 & under.
T-Shirt and Breakfast
- Shirts: The first 150 5K participants will receive a long-sleeve technical t-shirt.
- Breakfast: All 5K and Fun Run participants plus volunteers will receive a light breakfast (pancakes!!) following the races.
- Donation: Spectators and others can purchase the breakfast as a donation to Rowan Helping Ministries.
📍 Directions
- Location: The Millbridge Ruritan Building is on Sloan Road, just off Highway 150 midway between Salisbury and Mooresville. Just follow the signs for Sloan Park near the Millbridge Community crossroads.
- From Mooresville: Turn left on Sloan.
- From Salisbury: Turn right on Sloan.
- Landmark: The Ruritan Building is on the right less than a half mile from Hwy. 150, and is directly across from Sloan Park.
