🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025
• Location: Mocksville Elementary, Mocksville, NC
• Start Time: Race kicks off at 8:30 AM
• Packet Pickup: On-site registration and pickup begin at 7:15 AM

🎉 Event Purpose

• Organizer: Join the Davie Community Foundation SURF Board
• Objective: Raise money to fund youth-led grants benefiting youth and children in Davie County, NC
• Inclusion: All abilities of runners are welcome: walkers are encouraged
• Community Impact: All proceeds support youth-led projects in Davie County

🙌 Family Fun Activities

• Raffle Ticket: Each participant receives one at packet pickup for a chance to win great prizes
• Costume Contest: Come in your favorite wintry costume: the most creative chilly costume wins a prize
• Brain Freeze Challenge: Eat a popsicle at the start, middle, and end of the race
• Kids Entertainment: Kids 8 and under who are not running will be entertained by SURF students

🚷 Zero K Option

• Support Option: Sign up for the Zero K if you want to support the race without running
• Registration: You can register at the door and don't have to run an inch

💰 Race Fees

• Runner & Walker: $15 Early Bird through 10/31: $20 from 11/1 to 12/31: $25 until 1/31: $30 until 2/21. Race Day Registration (2/22) $35.
• 5K Team Registrants: $10 Early Bird through 10/31: $15 through 12/31: $20 until 1/31: $30 until 2/19. Race Day Registration (2/22) $35.
• Davie County Students and Staff: $10 through 12/31: $15 through 1/31: $20 until 2/19. Race Day Registration (2/22) $30.
• Zero K: $20. Support the cause without running.

📝 Additional Information

• Waiver: All participants must sign a waiver to participate
• Pets: No pets allowed on the course
• Post-Race: There will be great food and prize opportunities after the race
