In 2021, we dedicated the race to Ron Shields as he was always involved with running either with the road runners and help restart and coach the cross-country team at West Perry. In honor of him, we have renamed the Perry 5000 the Ron Shields Perry 5000.

5k Start Time: 9:30am
Mile Walk: Starts after the 5k is finished
Fun Runs: Also starts after the 5k
Post-Race Activity: Stick around afterwards for the street fair.
