The Last Boyscout

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Last Boyscout is a Last Man Standing Race that utilizes the Boyscout Trail at Ferne Clyffe State Park.

• Format: Designed to reward the tough, not necessarily the fast.
• Participant Perks: All participants will receive a shirt and memorabilia.
• Registration: Capped at 75 runners, with potential for adding more later.
• Milestones: In 7 years, we have reached 100 miles just one time.

🏔️ Course Details

The course is tough, and participants must keep going to succeed.

• Elevation: 600 feet of climbing per loop.
• Loop Structure: Runners have 1 hour to complete a 4.167 mile loop.
• Finish Rule: Must finish the previous loop to start the next or be eliminated.
• Technical Challenge: First-time runners may find the hills daunting.

🌙 Night Loop Details

The night loop starts at 6:40 PM and has specific requirements for safety.

• Headlamp and Vest: Required during the night.
• Path: Out and back with specified turnarounds.
• Paved Ratio: 75% paved road for the night route.
• Creek Crossings: Dependent on rainfall.

Located at beautiful Ferne Clyffe State Park, the venue offers various amenities.
