❄️ Event Overview
The Snowman Scram 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run is a fun wintertime event designed as a fundraiser for the Pentwater Cross Country and Track Teams.
📅 Date and Time
- Date: February 8th 2025
- Time: 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 11:00am with the 5K run/walk to follow.
📍 Location
- Start & Finish: By the bus barn/track at the school.
💲 Entry Fees
- 1 Mile Fun Run: $25.00
- 5K Run/Walk: $35.00
📦 Packet Pickup and Registration
- Packet Pickup: In the lobby of the school. You can also use the gym to warm up!
- Same Day Registration: Begins at 9:30. All runners must be registered by 10:30!
- Shirt Availability: Those who register the day of will likely not receive a shirt.
💧 Refreshments and Amenities
- Water: Available at the finish.
- Refreshments: Available in the cafeteria after the race. There will be a few door prizes!
- Chip Timing: Provided for the race: results will be very quick!
- Course: Flat and all on paved roads.
👕 Participant Perks
- Long Sleeve T-shirt: Included with all pre-registered participants (by February 1st).
- Finishers Medals: For all 1 mile fun runners (only guaranteed with pre-registration by February 1st).
- Virtual Option: All 5K virtual runners will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal, available for pickup or mailing.
🏆 Awards
- Categories: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in age categories: Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- Overall Winners: Trophies for overall male and female winners and male and female masters (40+) winners!

- No Refunds: For cancellations due to weather.
