The Jarred Williams Turkey Trot is an event aimed at raising funds to support families facing financial hardships, particularly those with children being treated at UVM Children's Hospital.

The race will take place on November 28, 2024, at 25 Round Church Rd., Richmond, VT.

🏃‍♀️ Race Details

• In-person and Virtual Races: Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K in-person race starting at 8:30 am or a virtual race to be completed before 8:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
• Timing: Participants will be responsible for their own timing and can share their finish times and photos online.
• Health Measures: Respect for masking in crowds is encouraged, and a virtual option is available for those with symptoms.
• Race Course: The course is an out-and-back route on Cochoran Road.

👕 T-shirt Pick Up & Treats

• Pick Up: T-shirts can be picked up at Richmond Community Kitchen on Nov 27th. The first 150 people will be guaranteed a 2024 Turkey Trot t-shirt.
• After Race Treat: Participants can enjoy apple cider and cider doughnuts.
• Parking: Parking is available at Volunteer Green, with additional instructions provided about parking areas.
• Port a-Potty: Facilities are located behind the Richmond Church.

• Prizes: Top finishers of the in-person 5K will be eligible for prizes.
