Charge! Teddy's 5K is a race to find a cure for STXBP1 Disorder.
🧠 About STXBP1 Disorder
- Definition: STXBP1 is a rare genetic neurological disorder that can cause epilepsy and severe developmental delays.
- Hope: Incredible hope for a cure is on the horizon with groundbreaking research currently underway at several hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
- Organization: As a 501(c)(3) created in honor of STXBP1 thriver Teddy Taylor, funds raised by Teddy’s Rough Riders will be directed toward the cure, research, and support of STXBP1 and those impacted by it.
📅 Event Details
- Location: The race will start and finish at Audubon Park in Garland, TX.
- Date: October 26th is the Saturday before Halloween - so everyone is encouraged to wear their costumes if they would like!
- Costume Contest: We will have an exciting prize for the best costume that will be presented after the race.
- Participation: Runners of all ages are encouraged to participate.

Packets can be picked up the morning of the race starting at 8 AM.
