This ain't your average foot race: it’s a full-blown adventure through the stunning parks and greenbelts of the Lone Star State. Whether you're a seasoned rodeo pro or just looking to kick up some dust, we’ve got a race distance that’ll fit your fancy.

• Race Options: Choose from a speedy 1 mile, a thrilling 5K, a challenging quarter marathon, or a mighty half marathon.
• Finishers' Rewards: All finishers will receive a super cool Belt Buckle medal that doubles as a genuine belt buckle.
• Custom Shirt: You'll also score a custom Rodeo Stampede shirt that’s as comfy as a pair of old cowboy boots.
• Costume Contest: Participate in our Cowboy Costume Contest and show off your western flair!

But that ain’t all—DJ Sasquatch will be spinning the hottest hits to keep the crowd boot scootin' and the energy high. As you cross that finish line, we’ll be there to announce your name and celebrate your hard work.

• Awards: Trophies will be handed out to the fastest overall male and female in each event.
• Age Group Awards: We’ll have age group awards to honor all our stellar runners.
• Kids Dash: Got little cowpokes aged 10 and under? They won’t want to miss our Kids Dash!
• Bigfoot Photo Ops: Bigfoot himself will be on hand for high fives and photo ops.

🏃‍♂️ Race Distances Offered

• Kids Dash: About a 50 meter dash for kids 10 and under, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 1 Mile: For all ages, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Chip timed, features trophies for male and female finishers.
• Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, chip timed, featuring overall trophies.

📅 Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:50am: Costume Contest
• 8:55am: Kids Dash
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!

🙌 Volunteer Opportunities

If you'd like to volunteer, you'll enjoy various roles and have the chance to participate in the race:

• Position Options: Water Station, Course Monitors, Finish Line Helper, Turtle/Sweeper, etc.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Cheer on participants and provide photo opportunities.
• Volunteer Check-in: Arrive 1.5 hours before start time.
• Race Details: Bigfoot races proceed rain or shine.
