Discovery Dash 5K/10K and 1 Mile Fun Run

🍂 Welcome to the Discovery Dash

Our unusual course, at Discovery Park of America, will now offer a beautiful fall setting for your race through our 50-acre heritage park. In addition to the scenic course with waterfalls, bridges and unique landmarks.

🏞️ Course Highlights

• Unique Features: The route meanders through a 50-acre heritage park that features a man-made river flowing through the extensively landscaped property, along with waterfalls, bridges and other water features.
• Historical Sights: No place else can you dash by a 120-year-old church, an 1800s frontier settlement, a reproduction of a town from the early 19th Century and a complete vintage train station.

🎉 Event Details

• Dynamic Experience: From dynamic race day check-in and pre-race entertainment to the dramatic inflatable archway finish line, finisher’s certificates and winner’s medals, you won’t want to miss a moment.
• Awards: Awards are presented in the 5K and 10K for males and females in various age categories.

📅 2025 Schedule

• 6:30-7:45 a.m. – Registration
• 8 a.m. – 10K begins
• 8:30 a.m. – 5K begins
• 9:00 a.m. - 1-Mile Fun Walk/Run begins
• 9:30 a.m. – Awards Ceremony

💰 Registration Information

Registration for the 5K and 1-mile fun run prior to July 31 is $25 and includes a Discovery Dash T-shirt and two free admission tickets to Discovery Park for the day. Beginning August 1, the registration fee will be increased to $30 dollars, and race T-shirts will be available only while supplies last. Registration for the 10K prior to July 31 is $30 and includes a Discovery Dash T-shirt and two free admission tickets to Discovery Park for the day. Beginning August 1, the registration fee will be increased to $35 dollars, and race T-shirts will be available only while supplies last.
