Groundhog 7-miler/5-miler hosted by Indy Runners

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Race Date: Sunday, February 1, 2026
• Start Time: 1:00pm
• Location: Zionsville High School - 1001 Mulberry Street, Zionsville, Indiana 46077
• Race Distance: 7-mile option and 5-mile option

💰 Cause and Contributions

• Previous Contributions: Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise another $4000+ for the Zionsville Food Pantry.
• Virtual Option: We've once again added a "Virtual Groundhog" for those who would like to support the cause, but can't make it on race day.
• Donation Focus: We'll still be collecting mostly monetary donations to support the food pantry this year.
• Additional Support: Participants can bring canned food items as well.

🕒 Race Guidelines

• Time Cut Off: We ask for folks wanting to do the 7-miler to keep up a 14:00 per mile pace.
• Course Information: Our course sentry at Mulberry Street (Mile 4.5) will be diverting everyone after that to just take the 5-mile route back to the high school.
• Route Length: Note that the 5-mile route is a touch long by about 0.2-miles, giving you a little bonus fun for your money.
• Community Support: Special thanks to Zionsville Community High School for being our long time host and the Zionsville Food Pantry as our beneficiary.
