St. Rita 5K & Fun Run for Education

The St. Rita 5K and Fun Run is back for its 20th annual running again offering both the 1K Fun Run and the 5K main event!

🏞️ Course Information

• Type: Flat, fast out-and-back course
• Location: Main Line Boulevard and Potomac Ave. in the Potomac Yard neighborhood of Alexandria
• Start/Finish: Behind George Washington Middle School (enter via Mt. Vernon Ave.)
• Scenery: Tree-lined course showcasing beautiful fall colors

🕖 Race Day Schedule

• 7:00am - 8:00am: Packet Pickup and Onsite Registration
• 8:00am: 1K Fun Run Start
• 8:30am: 5K Start
• 9:30am: Awards Ceremony

RACE BIB PICKUP & REGISTRATION

Bibs and t-shirts can be picked up on:

• October 30: 3:00-6:00pm at St. Rita School, 3801 Russell Rd, Alexandria
• November 1: 4:00-7:00pm at St. Rita School, 3801 Russell Rd, Alexandria
• November 2: 6:45-8:00am at the designated registration table
• Note: Onsite registration available for anyone who hasn't yet signed up

• OPEN: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers --> Cash Prizes
• MASTERS: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers (age 40 or older) --> Cash Prizes & Gift Cards
• AGE GROUPS: Top 2 Male & Female Finishers in each of the following age groups --> Gift Cards [15-19], [20-29], [30-39], [40-49], [50-59], [60-69], [70 and above]
• YOUTH: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers in the following age groups --> Medals [8 and under], [9-10], [11-12], [13-14]

🚗 Transportation

• Parking: Free parking is available
• Metro: Starting Line is steps away from Braddock Rd. Metro station (Yellow/Blue line)

ℹ️ Miscellaneous

• Note: The 1K Fun Run will not use chip timing, but top finishers will still be recognized!
• Strollers: Welcome on the course
• Bag Check: There will be no bag check at this 5K race
• T-shirts: Available to the first 500 registrants, limited in sizes
