- Start/Finish: Weede Gymnasium at Pittsburg State University
- Timing: Chip timed by Runaround Racing
🎓 Purpose of the Race
- Scholarships: Proceeds provide scholarships to local high school students entering Pittsburg State University.
- ROTC Support: A scholarship is also awarded to a student entering PSU Army ROTC.
- Community Effort: Pittsburg Noon Rotary works hard to put on an exceptional event!
🕖 Registration Information
- Online Registration: Runners must register online by Oct 1st to receive a shirt.
- Packet Pickup: Packets not picked up on race day will not be mailed.
- Weather Note: The weather at 7am in late October can be chilly, so come prepared!
- Start Time: The Gorilla Grind 5K will start promptly at 7:00am.
🏆 Awards
- Overall Male: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
- Overall Female: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
- Age Categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up (1st, 2nd, 3rd for each)
