🎉 40 Year Celebration of the Firecracker!

The Rotary Club of Santa Cruz Sunrise is ecstatic to announce that our full Firecracker race is back for 2025.

• Available Courses: 10K, 5K, and a Kid's 1K Fun Run.
• Location: Hosted at Harvey West Park.

🇺🇸 July 4th Race Day!

It's all here and waiting for just for you!

• Date: July 4th in the morning.
• Celebration: Kick off a holiday celebration of our nation's Independence Day.

⛰️ 10K Course Details!

Runners on the 10K will be treated to the challenging "Thrill of the Hill" in Pogonip Park.

• Route: Top out on the Spring Trail that winds through the beautiful meadow by UCSC.
• Experience: Drop down into the neighborhoods before returning to Harvey West Park.

🏃‍♀️ 5K Course Overview!

5K Runners will face a flat and fast course contained completely in the Harvey West Business Park Area.

• Accessibility: The 5K course is Stroller, ADA and Wheelchair accessible.

👥 Refer a Runner!

When you register you will have an option to refer 5 people - friends or family. If those people all register for the race will get an automatic refund on your registration.

• Refund Details: Total referrals for the 5K and 10K is a $10 refund and for the 1K it is a $5 refund.
