Celebrate Global Running Day with a 5K brought to you by the Toledo Roadrunners Club in partnership with Metroparks Toledo!
👶 Kid’s Participation
- Age Requirement: ALL kids 12 and under are free and should stay with guardians during the 5K.
- Kids Race: The kids 1K race has been discontinued due to lack of interest. Children and families are still welcome.

🕕 Race Details
- Start Time: 5K starts at 6:30pm.
- Course Description: The 5K course at Swan Creek Preserve Metropark was funded and mapped by the Toledo Roadrunners Club! It is an all purpose paved trail, great for all ages and abilities.
- Course Layout: The course consists of an upper loop (approximately 1.7 miles) with the balance being an out and back.
- Alternative Distance: If you don’t want to run or walk the full 5K, come out and complete 1.7 miles!
💰 Registration Info
- Cost: The event is $5.00 for Toledo Roadrunners Club members and $10.00 for non-members.
- T-Shirt: $13.00 unisex cotton blend shirt add-on (see shirt below). Shirt guarantee ends on May 25.
- Registration Type: Online registration only. Online registration will be open until the start of the event.
- Runner Input: During registration, you’ll be prompted to fill in "I Run ...". Let us know why you run! Have fun with it! It is optional.
📍 Check-In Info
- Location: Check-in at the Mary Jane Gill shelter. The shelter is located south of the playground.
- Check-In Time: Check in starts at 5:30pm. Use the parking lot off Airport Highway.
🚰 Event Amenities
- Timing: There will be a clock set up. There are no awards.
- Refreshments: Water and snacks will be available at the conclusion of the event.
- Giveaways: There will also be some giveaways!
⚠️ Additional Notes
- Race Insurance: Due to the low cost and the t-shirt being an add-on, race insurance is not offered for this event.
- Medical Support: Mercy Health – Toledo will provide onsite medical support.
