Cake by the Lake

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Fourth Annual Cake by the Lake 5K and One Mile Cakewalk
• Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025
• Location: Liberty Park, Inverness, FL
• Course: Withlacoochee State Trail along the shores of the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes

🥇 Race Experience

• Start Times: 5K Runners at sunrise, 1-mile walkers shortly after
• Finisher's Medals: All participants receive medals upon return to Liberty Park
• Post-Race Festivities: Enjoy music, festivities, cake, and ice cream by the lake
• Awards: Unique cake plate age-level awards for the 5K, three deep in five-year increments

👶 Registration Details

• Kids Registration: $10 for kids up to 12 years old
• Teens Registration: $15 for teens aged 13-17
• Adult Registration: 18 and older are considered adults
• Swag: 17 and under will receive different swag but will still get a heavy 3" full-color medal

📅 Event Logistics

• Packet Pickup: Starts at 6:30 a.m. on Race Day
• Race Starts: 7:30 a.m.
