🏃♂️ Alameda Day of the Dead Night time 5k and Kids Run
We are excited to add a new twist to our Island Running Series. Join us for a unique evening run around beautiful Alameda Point. Runners will start and finish under the historic USS Hornet museum, and the running course will highlight beautiful views of the SF skyline, Sea Plane lagoon promenade, and spirit alley.
The run will start at 6pm, just before sunset and we will celebrate a late Halloween and Day of the Dead. Costumes are encouraged (as long as you can still run!)
Similar to our other Island events, the Halloween fun run will feature a 5k and 1/2 mile run for the kids. Runners will receive:
- custom race medals
- custom bibs
- high quality blended runner shirts
📅 Event Schedule:
- Packet pick-up: Lauren's Closet, 1420 Park St, October 30th and 31st, 10:00am - 5:00pm
- Race day Registration: USS Hornet, 4:30pm
- 5k run starts: 6:00pm
- 1/2 Mile kids run: 6:45pm
- 5k awards: 6:50pm
- Expo and music: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
A portion of the proceeds will go to the USS Hornet museum. Come out and run at this spooky Friday night event and support a true Alameda landmark!
