🏃♂️ First Day 5k Cane Bay Plantation
No Better Way to start 2024 than with a 5k! Run Cane Bay is Excited to bring you The First Day 5k 2024. Thanks to our Friends at the Gasperic Group, Cane Bay Plantation, and many more we are excited to host an in-person 5k at 9:24 am on Monday, January 1st, 2024. The race is being held in Cane Bay Plantation and is for all ages, skills, and speeds.
🌳 Course Information
- Location: Cane Bay Elementary School, Summerville, SC
- Date: January 1, 2025
- Start Time: 9:24 am
- Trail Description: The race will be held on the community paved trail system, providing a flat course suitable for all levels.
🛣️ Race Route
- Starting Point: Cane Bay Elementary School parking lot
- Course Description: Participants will use the paved multiuse trails to loop through 2 tunnels for a 3.1-mile course within Cane Bay Plantation.
- Route Features: Runners will go under Cane Bay Blvd twice and cross the Nexton Parkway Extension with help from Sherriff's Deputies for safety.
- Participant Restrictions: No pets are allowed on the course.
🏅 Finish Line Rewards
- Finisher Benefits: All participants will receive the 2024 Race YETI and a complimentary coffee or cocoa upon finishing the race.
- Prizes: Top three males and females overall, masters, grand masters, as well as winners in various age groups, will receive prizes.
- Age Groups: Categories include 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
