🎉 Event Overview

The Washington Community Development Center Jingle Jog 2024 is the second annual 5K held for WCDC. We are a non-profit, community-based outreach program formed by the 501(c)(3) I Am A Hero, Inc. to unite the people of Texarkana by providing opportunities for growth to those who might not always be granted those opportunities.

• Mission: Uniting the people of Texarkana through community outreach.
• Programs: Hosting life skills classes and sponsoring sports leagues.
• Partnerships: Collaborating with various organizations to enhance community support.
• Impact: Investing in the city's youth for their growth and success.

Dear Jingle Jog Participants,

Due to forecasted inclement weather this Saturday, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the Jingle Jog 5K & Fun Walk to Saturday, December 28th, 2024.

📍 New Event Details

• Date: Saturday, December 28, 2024
• Registration: 8:00 AM (Shirts, race bibs, and swag bags will be distributed)
• Race Start: 9:00 AM
• Location: Spring Lake Park

⚠️ Safety Notice

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. The safety of our participants is our top priority, and after consulting with our race director, we determined that rescheduling would provide the best experience for everyone. Hard downpours would make it extremely difficult to ensure accurate race timing and a safe course for all participants.

Please note that refunds will not be issued as stated in our event policy, but we look forward to seeing you on December 28th for a safe, fun, and festive race! 🎄
