This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

🏅 Race Distances

• Variety of Distances: Choose from a 1-mile jaunt, a 5-kilometer challenge, or a 10-kilometer trek through picturesque trails.
• Kids Dash: A special treat for our youngest participants, this exhilarating sprint of approximately 50 meters is designed for children aged 10 and under.
• Chip Timed: The 5K and 10K events are chip-timed, honoring efficient runners with trophies and awards.
• Recognition Awards: Every runner will receive recognition and age group awards, celebrating personal achievements.

🎶 Entertainment

DJ Sasquatch will be on hand to keep the energy high with a fantastic playlist, ensuring that you’re motivated and pumped throughout your run. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just out for a fun day, the lively beats will add an extra bounce to your step.

🎭 Costume Contest

Adding to the fun, we’re hosting a festive costume contest. Embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving by dressing up in your most creative, Thanksgiving-themed costume.

• Grand Prize: Contestants will have a chance to win a trophy, a prize pack, and a $40 HEB gift card.
• Prize Pack: Includes a certificate for 2 free future races, and a special Bigfoot Running Company Swag Pack filled with cool goodies.
• Showcase Your Creativity: Whether you’re rocking a turkey tutu or a pilgrim’s hat, this is your chance to shine.

All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.

• Packet Pickup: 7:30-8:45 am
• Kids Dash: 8:55 am
• National Anthem and Race Start: 9:00 am
• Awards: Live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

💪 Volunteer Opportunities

Join us as a volunteer and experience the fun side of the race while helping others! You will receive a custom chip-timed bib, super soft tee, and an awesome finisher medal!

Youth-based pricing: Youth aged 12 & under pay only $15 for the 5k & 10K!
Refer a Friend: Participants will receive a $20 refund if they refer 5 others.
