🎄 Race Details
- Distances: Participants have the option to run 2, 4, or 6 miles.
- Course: The race starts at the Sweetsir School in Merrimac and features a 2-mile loop.
- Strategy: Runners can decide whether to stop after 2 miles or continue for 4 or 6 miles.
- Timing: The run is chip timed with awards for overall winners and age groups.
🏆 Awards and Registration
- Awards: Male/Female overall awards in each distance, plus age group awards every 10 years.
- Age Groups: Starting at age 65, categories are in 4-year increments until 90+.
- Registration Fee: $35.00 with a toy: $40.00 without a toy: $45.00 on race day.
- Special Offer: Participants aged 70+ just need to bring a toy but must complete a registration application.
👶 Fun Run and Community Support
- Elves Fun Run: Children 10 and under are welcome to participate free of charge.
- Direction: The fun run will be led by a Winner’s Circle Running Club Member around the elementary school.
- Community Impact: A portion of the proceeds supports the Merrimac Holiday Helper Program.
- Giveaway: A giveaway will be provided to the first 200 registrants (details to be determined).
