🎉 Event Format
- Unique Twist: The event will consist of three separate races: the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon.
- SHOOTOUT: A combination of all races back-to-back-to-back with cumulative time.
- Timing: The faster you run, the more break you have between events.
- Start: Shootout runners must start each race at the gun.
🌳 Park Information
- Location: SFA State Park is just a short drive from Houston.
- Nature Experience: The park is nestled on the banks of the Brazos River, providing opportunities to get up close to nature.
- Amenities: Enjoy 6 miles of hiking and biking trails, a picnic area, geocaching, and various campsites.
- Reservations: Camping can be reserved directly with the online park reservation system.
🗓️ Schedule
- Friday: 3:00pm-7:00pm Packet Pickup at SFA Park Start Line.
- Saturday:
- Packet Pickup 5:30am-10:30am
- 7:30am Start of 5k
- 8:30am Start of 10k
- 10:30am Start 13.1 Half Marathon
- Finish Line: 3:00PM closes for all events (final cutoff time).
🏅 Awards and Medals
- Finishers' Medals: Unique for each distance (5k, 10k, and Half).
- Triple Participants: Will collect all three medals!
