The Russell Forest Run is a race that carries runners on a certified course over sand, clay, and gravel roads that were designed for runners, bicycles, and electric cars.
🌄 Scenic Route
- Start Point: Russell Crossroads
- Notable Locations: Runners will go near Kob’s Knob and up to Heaven.
- Finish Line: Near The Stables at Russell Crossroads.
⏰ Race Schedule
- 10K Start: 7:45am with a machine gun blast from the Town Green at Russell Crossroads.
- 5K Start: Begins shortly after the 10K start time, also from the Town Green.
- Post-Race Party: Immediately following the race near The Stables.
🎉 Post-Race Celebration
- Food: Enjoy our World Famous Grits Bar.
- Music: Live music and more will be available.
📅 Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup for both runs is Friday, February 21st and Saturday, February 22nd at The Discovery Center in Russell Crossroads. Please follow the registration signs.
⚠️ Important Guidelines
Please be aware that there are no pets allowed on the course during the Russell Forest Run. Yes we all love our fur babies, but for their safety and for runner safety, we ask you to leave them at home!
