š 3rd Annual IOL Purple Light Project 5K
The Purple Light Project (PLP) was created in 2020 to bring support to behavioral health emergency department patients. Purple symbolizes Hartford Hospital's behavioral health emergency department, while the light represents Hartford HealthCare's commitment to serving patients 24/7.
Since its inception, PLP has evolved to support the entire behavioral health system by providing essentials to patients in need. 100% of the funds raised through the 5k go directly to the patients.

- 5K Race at 9:00am

- Awards: Top male, female, and non-binary participants in various age groups
- Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-45, 46-59, 60-69, 70 & up
- Timing: Professionally managed by The EMPIRE Timing Co.
