• Location: Chiawana Park (west end), Pasco, Washington
• Scenic Route: Run along the Columbia River on paved riverfront trail

🌊 The River's Importance

The Columbia River has provided this region's culture and economy for thousands of years. It is the largest river in the Pacific Northwest. The river forms in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, and flows through Washington. This Big River irrigates more than 6,000,000 acres of agricultural land. Agriculture is a huge part of our community and is possible because of this valuable water source.
