🏃♂️ Race Overview
The Raquette River Marathon and races run along the scenic Raquette River along River Rd, starting and finishing in Potsdam at the Potsdam Arena. The course involves rolling hills and is certified by USATF and therefore a Boston Qualifier Certified USATF Map. All races start together at 9:00. Plenty of parking at Pine Street Arena. 🚻 Facilities and Amenities
- Restrooms: Available at the start/finish and portable johns near both the half marathon turn-around and the marathon turn-around points.
- Swag Bag: Includes registration materials, bib and pins, t-shirt, sports drink, granola, fruit, and more for all pre-registered athletes.
- Water Stops: Water/sports drink stops every 1.5 miles along the course and at the start/finish.
- Pasta Party: Friday, the 28th, we will have a PASTA PARTY WITH EARLY CHECK-IN for $16. Details will be emailed prior to the race date.
🏅 Race Day Information
RACE DAY- Check-in inside the arena by the finish line, awards begin approximately 30 minutes after the last finisher of each race and there will be concessions/ food vendor on site from 8:30-3:00.
🏆 Awards
Awards for races are as follows: Half Marathon and Marathon runners will receive medals at finish, and we will do 1st-3rd overall male and female podium awards after the top 3 finishers have come in for each of those races. CASH AWARDS planned again for the 2025! These will be $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd for both men and women. The half marathon also had cash prizes in 2024.
