Lots of races for the whole family!
The Drumstick Dash 10K is a great way to work up your Thanksgiving Day appetite.
- Course: Two laps around Lake Harriet on a USATF Certified course.
- Timing: The race is chip timed by Mtec Results.
- Shirt Options: Participants can choose receiving no shirt, a long sleeve shirt, or a sweatshirt.
- Note: There are some hills, so count on a good appetite for fun. Register early to reserve your spot.
🏁 Pi Run Details
The Pi Run is the one lap option around Lake Harriet.
- Distance: Just a little more than 5K - 3.14159 miles.
- Same Start: The Pi Run has the same start line, start time, and finish line as the Drumstick Dash 10K.
- Timing: The race is chip timed by Mtec Results.
- Shirt Options: Participants have a choice of purchasing no shirt, a long sleeve shirt, or a sweatshirt. Register early to reserve your spot.
🌟 Cranberry Cruise One Mile
The Cranberry Cruise One Mile is a fun run and a great warm-up for your Thanksgiving Day.
- Registration Fee: Only $10.
- Timing: Check your time by the clock at the finish!
- Beanie Option: Participants have a choice to purchase a beanie for $10.
- Stroller Friendly: Strollers are permitted in the Cranberry Cruise Mile.
👶 Cranberry Kids Half Mile
The Cranberry Kids Half Mile is great for kids.
- Distance: A flat, easy half-mile on the west side of Lake Harriet.
- Registration Fee: Only $10.
- Beanie Option: Participants have a choice to purchase a beanie for $10.
- Medals: Every youth will receive a medal. Parents are welcome to run with kids at no additional cost.
💵 Race Fees
Participants in all the Drumstick Dash 10K and the Pi Run have the option to receive NO giveaway for our lowest race fee of $50.
- Shirt: For an additional $10 ($60 total registration fee).
- Sweatshirt: For an additional cost of $25 ($75 total registration fee).
- Cranberry Copper Mile & Half Mile: Lowest race fee of $10, winter beanie for an additional $10 ($20 total registration fee).
- Giveaway Purchase: Participants who choose the NO giveaway option may purchase at packet pick-up: sizes based on availability.
📍 Location
All events are at Lake Harriet in South Minneapolis. The Drumstick Dash 10K and Pi Run feature chip timing.
- Shirt Options: Options for No shirt, Shirt, and Sweatshirt.
- Fun Runs: The Cranberry Cruise Mile Run and Cranberry Kids Half Mile are fun runs.
- Beanie Option: Purchase a winter beanie.
- Start your day: Enjoy family fun and post race cookies.

- 7:30 AM: Cranberry Cruise Mile
- 7:30 AM: Cranberry Kids Half Mile
- 8:00 AM: Drumstick Dash 10K
- 8:00 AM: Pi Run 3.14 Miles
📦 Packet Pick Up Information
Packet pick-up will occur at the following times:
- Saturday, November 23: 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Mill City Running, 411 E. Hennepin, Minneapolis
- Wednesday, November 27: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Saint City Running, 767 Cleveland Ave S, St. Paul.
- Race Day, Thursday, November 28: 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at Lake Harriet Bandshell

Drumstick Dash is pleased to announce that Mile in My Shoes is continuing as our Charity Partner in 2023.
- Mission: Mile in My Shoes (MiMS) brings people from diverse backgrounds together through the power of running.
- Mentorship: MiMS run mentors are paired with people experiencing homelessness and other barriers.
- Support: Drumstick Dash participants can support MiMS through direct donations at registration.
- FundRacers: PLEASE register as a FundRacer at www.mileinmyshoes.mn before signing up for the race to receive information on special race discounts.
🚫 Field Limits
The total field for the Drumstick Dash 10K and Pi Run will be limited to a total of 850.
- Social Distancing: This will allow us to stage a staggered start with plenty of room for social distancing.
- Packet Pick-up: All participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets in advance of race day.
- No Refunds: Please note that all entries are final. No refunds will be given for race entry fees for any reason.
