Start your July 4th in Charlotte’s most festive fashion- by running, racing, and reveling at the 4 on the Fourth presented by Novant Health! Whether you’re chasing a personal best, a prize purse, or just want to soak up the summer spirit with friends and family, this four-mile event is the perfect way to kick off your holiday.

• Time: 7:30 AM - 4 Miler, 8:30 AM - Kids 1 Mile
• Location: SouthPark, Charlotte, NC
• Distances: 4-Miler & Kids Mile

Registration Information

• Awesome Swag: Register by June 15 to guarantee your oh-so-cool Recover Brands tank top and a one-of-a-kind finisher’s medal. Gotta love that summer bling!
• Parking: FREE parking at SouthPark Mall. Enjoy a scenic, runner-friendly route. Getting there and back will be a breeze!
• Timing and Scoring: The 4 on the Fourth presented by Novant Health will be chip timed. Results available as you cross the finish line.
• Bag Check: There is no bag check service for this event.

Awards and Divisions

• Age Group Divisions: Overall, Masters, 12 and under, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
• Awards Divisions: The top 3 Males and Females in all divisions will receive awards.
• Ceremony: Age group and overall winners will be recognized at the post-event awards ceremony, to be held approximately 30 minutes after the first finisher.
• Unclaimed Awards: Unclaimed awards may be picked up at Run For Your Life, Midtown (901 S. Kings Drive). We do not ship unclaimed awards.

Policies

• Refunds and Transfers: Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
• Time Limit: 1 hour 15 mins.
• Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on the course for safety reasons.
• Strollers: Bring strollers or baby joggers! There may be a separate start time based on entries.

Health and Safety

• Medical Emergencies: Medical services at the start/finish line are provided by Novant Health. Alert an event volunteer or call 9-1-1 for on-course emergencies.
• Water Stops: There will be 1 water stop along the course. Porta-Potties will be available at the start/finish area.
• Inclement Weather: Events will be held rain or shine unless deemed unsafe. Cancellation will not constitute a refund or transfer.
