🏃♂️ Race Overview
Join fellow Wildcats and friends for the 2024 K-State Homecoming Philanthropy 5K. The K-State Alumni Association will host both an in-person and virtual 5K.
- Purpose: Proceeds for this year's virtual 5K run/walk will benefit K-State Cats' Cupboard.
- Support: Cats' Cupboard is a food and necessity pantry for college students on campus.
👕 T-Shirt Information
T-shirt is guaranteed if registered by Oct. 2, 12 p.m. noon.
- Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for any 5K registration or shipping fees paid.
- Sponsor: Thank you to our 5K sponsor, WTC Fiber Internet.
🏅 In-Person Information
The in-person 5K will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the K-State Alumni Center.
- Prizes: Awards for first through third in four categories: non-student male, non-student female, male student, and female student.
- Packet Pick-Up: Non-student and students (not in a group) can pick up your packet Friday, Oct. 18 from 2-5 p.m. or on Sunday from 8-8:30 a.m. before the race.
🌐 Virtual Information
The virtual 5K is open to non-students and students (excluding groups) and must be registered by 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.
- Registration: You can register through this site or call the K-State Alumni Association at 785-532-6260.
- Participation: Enjoy a 3.1-mile walk, jog, or run at a place, pace, and time of your choosing between Sunday, Oct. 13 through noon on Sunday, Oct. 20.
- Results: Share your results: we will compile virtual results separate from the results of the in-person race.
- Race Time Entry: Don't forget to enter your race time here by noon on Oct. 20.
