Apple Fest Run/Walk

Race Overview

These races are chip timed on a classic Driftless area course. Located in the scenic rolling hills of western Wisconsin sits Apple Country – Gays Mills. Every year this small town hosts an epic event, Apple Fest, which includes a 1/4 mile kids run, a 2-mile Run/walk, and a 5-mile run along a beautiful wooded backroad heading out of town.

Course Details

• Challenge: The Apple Fest Run/Walk course is an impressive challenge of hills with a few level areas to give you a break!
• Aesthetics: With the Kickapoo on one side of you and fall colors all around, there is no end to the view as you run.
• Start/Finish: You start and finish by the Dam in Gays Mills and as you are heading back to the finish line you can hear the crowd's cheers before you can even see them.
• Motivation: The cheers from the crowd will give you just the rush and motivation you need to finish your race strong.

Registration Information

• Time: Race Registration is from 7:30-8:30 am at the Lions Shelter park adjacent to the Gays Mills bridge (Across the street from Robb Park).
• Price Increase: Registration prices increase after 9/12/2025, and you are NOT guaranteed a T-shirt.
• Additional Info: Be sure to register early to secure your spot and T-shirt.
