👋 Welcome to the Little Colorado River Gorge Half Marathon & 10K

📝 Registration

• Online Registration: Open through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 7.
• Packet Pick-Up: At the start line on Saturday morning at LCR Park.
• Community Fun Run: A free 2-mile run with open registration at the race site.

📍 Location

• Location Detail: LCR Navajo Tribal Park is 9.5 miles west of Cameron, Arizona on Hwy 64.
• Parking: Ample parking is available at the Park.
• Facilities: Includes dramatic overlooks and arts & crafts vendors, along with permanent pit toilets.

🎟️ Packet Pick-Up

• Time: Available from 8:00-9:45 a.m. at the Start Line on Saturday.
• Race Start: All races begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

🌤️ Weather

• Winter Conditions: Weather can vary from wintry to mild.
• Expected Temperatures: Average high is 58, while the average low is 27.
• Elevation: Start/finish line is just over 5000 feet elevation.
• Challenge: Highest elevation reaches over 5500 feet.

🏞️ Course

• Half Marathon: Route begins and ends at the LCR Navajo Tribal Park’s Shadow Mountain Viewpoint.
• Terrain: Challenging and scenic, includes dirt roads, double-track, historic highway, and singletrack trail.
• Safety Note: Be aware of dramatic drop-offs of 1500 feet at some locations on the half marathon route.
• 10K Course: An out and back on the same route of the half marathon, with rocky terrain.

🏆 Awards

• Award Categories: Overall and age-group awards for both half marathon and 10K.
• Age Groups: Include categories from 12 and under to 70+.
• Finisher's Medal: All half marathon and 10K finishers will receive a unique LCR finisher’s medal.

🎉 Post-Race

• Post-Race Treats: Runners will be treated to snacks.
• Entertainment: Live music will be provided.
