DeVries Reindeer 5K

🎅 Race Overview

• Event: The Reindeer 5k previously held at Fortitude Farms & Events is now the Reindeer 5k at DeVries Nature Conservancy.
• Date: 2024-12-07
• Location: DeVries Nature Conservancy, Owosso, MI
• Course: We have an awesome 5k run/walk course, on groomed trails that is perfect for everyone. Dressing festive is encouraged!

💲 Pricing

• Early registration: Now until 11/3 - $30, 11/4 to 11/17 - $35, 11/18 to 12/1 - $40, 12/2 to 12/7 $45.
• Ages 18 and under: Receive special pricing, it is $10 less than the adult registration fee.
• Discount application: The reduced pricing is automatically adjusted at checkout when registering.
• Group pricing: $2 off per person when you sign up together! Discount automatically applied during checkout.

👕 Race Swag

• T-shirts: Guaranteed with entry by Sunday, December 1st.
• Participation: The event encourages dressing festive with your reindeer spirit!

🐾 Rein'DOGS' Welcome!

• Dog participation: You may bring your dog to participate with you.
• Leash requirement: Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Please, no retractable leashes.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Race day morning starting at 9 am.

🏞️ Course & Schedule

• Course details: The 5k course is on well-groomed hard packed trails.
• Shoe recommendation: Running shoes are perfectly suitable for the terrain: trail shoes or CC spikes are not needed.
• Start time: The 5k run/walk will start promptly at 10:00 am.

🏅 Awards

• Overall awards: Overall Male and Female will receive an award.
• Age group awards: Top 3 places in each age group will be given awards.
• Age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

☕ Amenities

• Refreshments: Water and hot chocolate will be provided to all racers.

📝 Results

• Availability: Results will be available on-line at the event site and live during the event.
• Timing: The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
