🏅 Welcome to the Hero Hill Climb!
Welcome to the 3nd annual Hero Hill Climb! - Saturday, Memorial Weekend 2025
This is a great event to honor our fallen veterans and bring awareness to the good men & women serving in our military.
🚶♂️ Event Details
- Activity: Walk, run or mountain bike...all ages.
- Location: Starting in front of Camp Merrill Army Ranger Base.
- Mission: Carry a half-sheet card with a fallen service member's name up the hill to honor their sacrifice.
- Experience: At the top, ring the freedom bell and pin your Hero Card on the Hero Board.
🎉 After-Party Fun
Afterwards, join the after-party at "The Overhang", Camp Merrill's on-base bar & grille for great food & beverages, raffle giveaways, and live music. Comfy event t-shirts and challenge coins are available on-site and online.
⛰️ Safety & Participation
- Transportation: Jeeps and UTV/SxS vehicles available for transport up and down the mountain.
- Virtual Option: There is a "virtual category" for those who want to participate but cannot attend in-person.
🤝 Supporting Our Heroes
Partnering with the US Mountain Ranger Association (USMRA), the proceeds from this event will benefit both the USMRA as well as Mission22. Your contribution deploys critical support to our Heroes, by fostering community, financial assistance, and providing long-term wellness programs to prevent veteran suicide. You make an impact!
