• In-Person: 12/14/2024 at Monocacy Village Park. Time: 9:00am
• Virtual Race: Run Anywhere Between 12/13-15/2024. Time: Friday 8am - Sunday 5pm

🗓️ Race Day Information

• Registration: Starts at 7:00am until 9:00am. Please go to table with REGISTRATION SIGNS
• Packet Pickup: For Saturday at the pavilion. Please follow signs.
• Dogs: Allowed on the course as long as they are leashed at all times.
• Children: Riding in strollers do not have to be registered in the race.

📦 Before Race Day

🏃‍♂️ Packet Pickup (In-Person and Virtual Races)

Thursday 12/12/24: 3pm - 8pm at Downtown YMCA, 1000 North Market St. Frederick, MD 21701

Friday 12/13/24: 9am - 8pm at Downtown YMCA, 1000 North Market St. Frederick, MD 21701

Saturday (Race Day) 7am - 9am at the Pavilion. Please stay to the outside of the tables.

We highly recommend picking up your shirt and bib on Thursday or Friday to avoid the crowd on race day.

ℹ️ Additional Information

• Packet Pickup: You may pick up someone else’s packet.
• Packet Holding: Packets will be held for one week after the race.
• Mailing: There is a $15.00 fee for mailed packets.
• Post-Race: All packets will be mailed after the race.

⏰ Race Start Times

Virtual runners: Can start their race from Friday, December 13 at 8:00 am to Sunday, December 15 at 5:00pm.

In-Person Race: Starts at 9:00am for the One Mile Elf Run, with the 5k and 10k runs starting at approximately 9:20am.

🏆 Awards

Overall women and men for the 5K and 10K run will be announced after live results at the pavilion area.

1st place winners in all age groups for both men and women in the 5K and 10K will also be announced after live results.

🗺️ Race Courses

• 5K Race: Starting at Monocacy Park to Shifferstadt Blvd., with 2 U-turns.
• 10K Race: Two laps of the 5K course with a turnaround near the start/finish line.
• One Mile: An out and back from the park to Mohican Drive.
• First Aid: An AED will be located at the pavilion race site, with certified personnel present.

🚗 Parking

Respect public and private property when parking.

• YMCA Parking: Short walk across East Street to the park.
• Delaware Road: Parking between the park entrance and Exit driveway towards East Street.
• Shopping Center: Monocacy Village shopping center - do not park in front of retail stores.
• Local Roads: Running parallel to East Street and railroad tracks are available.

👕 Race Shirt

Shirt sizes are available for ages 5 and up!

Shirt Size Guarantee: Guaranteed if registered by October 31, 2024. After that, sizes are first come, first serve.

Ages 1-4 will receive a race cinch bag or equivalent gift instead of a shirt.

🎽 Bibs

Remember to attach all 4 pins of the bib to the outside of your apparel properly.

📲 Virtual Racers Only

If you are signed up for the virtual race, you should receive an email on downloading the RaceJoy app. Below are the instructions:

• Set Up: Download RaceJoy from the App Store or Google Play.
• Find Race: Click Featured Races or search by name.
• Set Up Tracking: Follow prompts to select your course.
• Race Day: Click TRACK ME and select the course.

🥇 Finisher Medals

Medals double as a holiday ornament!! Everyone receives a finisher medal.

🎖️ Awards (In-Person Race Only)

Overall male and female winners in each race category will be recognized.

First-place winners for each age group in both the 5K and 10K will also be acknowledged.

Race results will be available in a searchable format at www.racinemultisports.com/results.
