• Registration: Race morning registration available only at Castle Rock Farm. Please head to the farm to register if online registration has closed.

• Postponement: Due to recent heavy rains, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 5K Trail Run/Walk and Open House.
• New Date: The event will now be held on October 26th, 2024.

🏞️ About the Race

• Experience: Come and join Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue's 7th Annual 5k trail run/walk!
• Terrain: Participants will experience the beautiful terrain of Castle Rock Farm, the home of Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue.
• Fitness Levels: This race welcomes participants of all fitness levels from walkers to the more experienced runners.
• Beneficiary: All registration fees will directly benefit the horses and donkeys of Hope's Legacy, a 501(c)(3) charity that's been rescuing equines since 2008.

• Virtual Option: Virtually - at your convenience and your location.
• In-Person: Or join us at Castle Rock Farm on Race Day.

🎉 Open House Details

• Timing: Hope’s Legacy will be holding a public Open House from 9 AM - 2 PM following the Hoofin’ It For Horses run.
• Activities: Runners are welcome to stay on the property, meet and learn about our 4-legged friends.
• Food & Vendors: Take advantage of the food trucks, vendors, a tack sale, and educational programs.

👗 Costume Encouragement

• Dress Up: All participants are encouraged to wear costumes for the race!
• Pet Policy: Please leave your four-legged companions at home: dogs can stress out and scare our horses.
• Course Note: The course is hilly, making participation with a stroller difficult.
