Heartland Half Marathon, 5K, Team Challenge, and Kids Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

In 2024, the Heartland Half Marathon, 5K, Team Challenge, and Kids Fun Run will take place in Jasper, IN. The circuit rotates between Dubois County communities: Jasper in 2024, Huntingburg in 2025, and Ferdinand in 2026.

🎖️ Commemorative Medal

• Design: Each medal will connect to depict the county's geographic landscape and honor the area's heritage.
• Second Circuit: A new commemorative medal will be used, allowing participants to continue building their medal displays.

👟 Kids Fun Run

• Date: Friday, Sept. 20th.
• Registration: Individual sign-ups at $10 per person, or a family rate for up to 4 kids at $30.
• T-Shirts: Available for purchase at $10 per shirt.
• Running Log: Participants can track 12 miles prior to the event for a chance to win prizes. Download Running Log

📅 Post-Race Events

• Ferdinand Folk Festival: Enjoy live music, art, and family fun at the festival in 18th Street Park.
• Pirates on the Patoka: Experience this new event in downtown Jasper after the race.

💰 Charity Contribution

90% of proceeds from the race will support the Phillip R. Dawkins Heart & Vascular Center and Girls on the Run of Southwest Indiana. The remaining 10% goes to the DC Multisport Endowment for future charitable causes.
