🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us on Saturday, August 16th, at Bethlehem Community Park to honor Caleb Smail’s legacy and spread kindness in our community. The event features a 5K race, a Cornhole tournament, raffles, family fun, and food—all designed to bring people together in a spirit of generosity and support.

💰 Proceeds

Proceeds will benefit Youth Services Systems, helping local youth access vital resources and programs.

🌟 Early Bird Registration

• Special Pricing: Register by March 31st to take advantage of Early Bird Special Pricing.
• Memories: Come out, make memories, and help us spread kindness in honor of Caleb’s life.

Register by August 1st to guarantee your Race Shirt!

Race starts promptly at 9am!

🗺️ Course Description

• Route: The course will take you on a challenging but beautiful tour of Bethlehem.
• Starting Point: The race starts near the playground at the Community Park.
• Course Flow: You'll run through residential areas, making specific turns as indicated by volunteers.
• Trail Loop: Final stretch includes a loop back behind the baseball backstop and Community Shelter.

👮 Course Support

The course is very well marked and there will be volunteers at all turns and turnaround. Volunteers, arrows, and chalk will help guide you throughout the course.

5K Run

• Top 3 Overall: Male/Female
• Top 3: Male/Female 1-29
• Top 3: Male/Female 30-49
• Top 3: Male/Female 50-59
• Top 3: Male/Female 60 & over

5K Walk

• Top 3 Overall: Male/Female
• Top 3: Male/Female 1-49
• Top 3: Male/Female 50-59
• Top 3: Male/Female 60 & over

📅 Awards Ceremony

The Age Group categories are based off of previous years' entries. We will adjust as the race continues throughout the years. Awards ceremony will follow 10 minutes after the last runner crosses the finish line.

🚶‍♂️ Walk Guidelines

If you register for the 5K Walk, YOU MUST WALK THE ENTIRE DISTANCE! This is a competitive 5K Walk. You may not sprint, run, jog, or trot one single step. By definition, you MUST have one foot on the ground AT ALL TIMES. To do otherwise is considered cheating and you will be moved to the run division without refund. Parents, please instruct your children about the Walking rules.
