🏃♂️ Event Overview
This great 5K/10K/10K Relay / Fun Run benefits PruittCares - Camp Cocoon, which is a bereavement camp for children ages 6-17.
🌟 Camp Purpose
- Safe Environment: The camp offers the children a safe environment to talk about their loved ones.
- Support: Children can ask counselors and medical professionals any questions they may have.
- Activities: Kids can let loose and enjoy the normal summer camp activities.
🤝 Community Impact
- Honoring Loved Ones: Participants are encouraged to wear something to honor a loved one that has passed away.
- Shared Experiences: The event provides a chance to talk to others who might have gone through similar experiences.
- Connect: It's an opportunity to get together with friends and neighbors.
- Friendly Competition: Participants can compete on a fast course, set a new PR, or simply run or walk for a good cause.
💖 Fundraising Impact
All proceeds will go to offsetting the cost of the camp and sponsoring children to attend Camp Cocoon at no cost.
