Lake City Memorial Day 5k & 1 Mile Road Race

🏃‍♂️ Race Information

Join us on Monday, May 26, 2025 for the third year of the Lake City Memorial Day 5k & 1 Mile Road Race. The run is hosted by the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country teams, and it will be timed by Rotpac Racing.

🥇 Finisher Awards

All participants will receive a finisher medal.

🏆 Additional Awards

• Winners in the Mile: The first female and male finishers in the mile race will each receive a winner's medal.
• Winners in the 5k: The first female and male finishers in the 5k race will each receive a gift card to the running store Fleet Feet in Traverse City and other locations.
• Age Group Medals: The top three female and top three male finishers in each age will receive age-group medals.
• Age Groups:
  • 13 years and under
  • 14 - 19 years
  • 20 - 29 years
  • 30 - 39 years
  • 40 - 49 years
  • 50 - 59 years
  • 60 - 69 years
  • 70 years and up

💰 Proceeds

All proceeds will go to the Lake City High School and Middle School cross country program.

👕 T-Shirt Information

Runners who register before Monday, May 19 will receive an event t-shirt. Extra t-shirts may be available for purchase for registrants after May 19 and non-participants.
