Tidewater Strider Dismal Swamp 100K/ 50K / Marathon and 100K Relay

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the 5th Annual Dismal Swamp 100K /50K/ Marathon and 100k Relay

We are keeping the Marathon for this year's race. It will be take place on our USATF Certified Course! Ranked the Fastest course in Virginia and 47th Fastest in the US by Findmymarathon.com! Huge BQ opportunity!

🏁 Course Details

• Start Times: The 100k starts at 6 am and the 50k & Marathon starts at 6:45 am.
• Course Type: Out and back 3.88 miles each way for the 100k and 50k.
• Loops: 4 loops for 50k and 8 loops for 100k.
• Certification: The Marathon course is a Certified BQ Course.

💧 Fluids and Food

• Aid Stations: 1 full aid station at start/finish after every loop with food, water, and nutrition drinks!
• Water Stations: There will be water stations set up on the course for Marathon runners.
• Manned Stations: Only set up during the Marathon.
• Unmanned Water Stations: Set up close to the 100k/50k turnaround.

🏆 Amenities & Post-Race

• Finishers Receive: Medal, Hoodie Sweatshirt, and long-sleeve shirt for Marathon and Finishers items.
• BQ Reward: All Runners who qualify for Boston will receive a BQ Shirt!

⏱️ Time Limits

• Start Times: The 100K starts at 6 AM and the 50K & Full Marathon starts at 6:45 AM.
• Finish Line Closure: Finish line will close at 9 PM.

🏅 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 overall Male and Female.
• Age Group Awards: Top male and female in the following Age groups: 39 & under, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

📝 Registration

• Open Registration: Registration will be open raceday up to Race Start.
• Strider Plus/Legacy Runners: Discount will be applied at checkout.
• Club Membership Discounts: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available up thru race day.
• No Paper Forms: Paper entry forms are not available.

🎽 Packet Pickup

Packet pick up will be at the start line starting at 5:30 am until the 50K & Marathon start!

🤝 100K Relay

• Team Registration: When registering, please signup your team if you are the 1st member signing up.
• Team Size: You can have anywhere from 2 to 8 members on your team!

💪 Elite Field

New this year we will have an Elite Entry for this year's Race: to receive a Comp Elite Entry you had to have run faster than the time listed below in the last 2 years! If you would like to claim the entry contact Thomas Orangerunning@yahoo.com. We will also have Prize Money for the top Male & Female in the 100k Marathon & 50K Top.

• Marathon: Men: 2:40 | Women: 3:00
• 100K: Men: 7:30 | Women: 8:30
• 50K: Men: 3:15 | Women: 3:50
