🌲 Race Overview
The Avenue of the Giants is one of the most beautiful races in the world! It runs through old growth redwoods and follows a natural creek in the middle of a state park. Staged on "The Avenue of the Giants" in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, located in rural Northern California.
🏞️ Course Details
- Course Type: The course is on a paved road that winds gently uphill but is mostly a flat, fast destination race.
- Natural Beauty: With little to distract you, the tall trees inspire the athlete in each of us to be strong.
- Certification: The course is certified and the marathon is a Boston Qualifying event.
🚫 Registration Status
The race is sold out but please check out our sister race the Humboldt Redwoods Marathon which takes place in September, uses the same course, and is also produced by Six Rivers Running Club.
